From Ed Sheeran to The Beatles, the Royal Albert Hall has been an infamous creative arts venue for nearly 150 years. Have you ever wanted to decide who gets to play there?
18-25-year-olds now have the chance to produce their own show at the Royal Albert Hall on the all-new Young Producers Scheme, giving aspiring event managers the opportunity to gain professional experience working in a prestigious arts venue.
Successful candidates will be chosen in September and then begin a six-month crash course in event management, marketing and programming. At the end of this course is what you’ll have been working towards: two nights of events on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th April 2018. These events will be held in several venues at the Hall: Verdi, the North Circle Bar and the Elgar Room where Dame Judi Dench once trained, among many other stars.
You can apply for the Young Producers Scheme without any qualifications or experience. So, if you’ve just finished school and are looking for some creative arts work experience this summer, this is the position for you. All applicants must have a passion for the arts, and an interest in a career in this industry is also essential. In addition, all applicants must be able to commit to fortnightly meetings from the end of September 2017 to early April 2018, 1-4pm.
If the Young Producers Scheme sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, apply today! Applications will be accepted until 8th September 2017. Click here to find out more.
